BattRestore Makita 18V Battery Diagnostic Repair Tool Adapter Reset Error USB

Adapter compatible with 18V LXT Makita batteries to remove the software lock on faulty 18V batteries. It slots directly onto the battery and various diagnostic functions can be performed over USB with the corresponding software. 

The software tool is likely to set off antivirus programs.

It can do the following functions: 

• Show the charge count of the battery
• Show the Battery Model of the connected battery
• Show whether the battery is Locked or Unlocked
• Can Unlock locked batteries
• Check invidivual cell voltages
• Read the temperature sensor
• Show the voltage difference between highest and lowest voltage cells
• Show the overall pack voltage
• Show the current battery error message
• Display the ROM ID 

Please note that this will not magically fix all batteries, it is simply a tool that can access and modify certain software aspects of certain batteries. It is perfect for repairing faulty batteries where the cells have been replaced / balanced but the BMS remains locked.
