Firmware update for the original as well as encoder versions of our MDT-02

If you have been struggling to unlock some Makita batteries, this firmware update introduces a "Repair BMS" function, which can be used as a last resort to force clear any residual errors on the battery

Windows 10 or higher required

To perform the update, simply connect the tool to a PC via a USB-C cable, open the application, and follow the step-by-step instructions. Please ensure to select the correct device (either the original button pad model, or the updated rotary encoder model) and keep the device connected until the update finishes.
